With its heartfelt gospel songs and down–to–earth characters, this musical is a celebration of life, love and bluegrass gospel at its finest. Set in a North Carolina Baptist Church in the depths of the Great Depression, Smoke on the Mountain is the story of the Sanders Family Singers’ first night back on the gospel music circuit with all the problems that beset such an important performance.
