Education Programs
at Cherokee Civic Theatre

 Throughout the year, Cherokee Civic Theatre endeavors to provide opportunities for East Texans to learn or enhance skills associated with the theatre arts. For 2007-2008, we plan workshops on set building as well as our annual summer youth camp, “Thespians ‘N Training”.

Thespians ‘N Training (TNT) 2008 will be offered in June, 2008. Dates will be confirmed as soon as our volunteer Directors are confirmed. If you’re interested in being a Director or Counselor (ages 16+) for TNT 2008, please contact us at TNT@cherokeetheatre.net.

Dates for our Set Building Workshops are still TBA but we expect them to start by September 2007. If you’re interested in participating as either an instructor or a “student”, please contact CCT at information@cherokeetheatre.net and we’ll make sure you know the dates once they’re added to our calendar.

And don’t forget, being an onstage or offstage volunteer at Cherokee Civic Theatre is also quite “educational” so if you have talent to share or just an interest in seeing CCT have a great shows, contact us at information@cherokeetheatre.net for volunteer, musician and actor opportunities.
