Somethings Afoot

After a $25,000 renovation project thanks to the Summers A. Norman Foundation, in which an organ was acquired, the stage was enlarged and curved, plush comfy new seats were installed, and a grand curtain was installed on stage, CCT performed "Something’s Afoot" in October of 1991. This show ran 7 dates and was a part of the 23rd Annual Indian Summer Arts and Crafts Fair. It included a red-carpet premiere that featured past CCT stars arriving in limousines, taking pictures, and signing autographs!

"Something’s Afoot" was a playful musical spoof of Agatha Christie murder mysteries where ten people were stranded in an isolated English country estate during a raging thunderstorm, and one by one, each person meets their fate. After the premiere, a reception was held at the Old Perkins Home.
